Contribution
for Management
When the senior gave us this task,
the first thing that came into my mind was “how am i supposed to write that?”.
They asked us to write 1000 words and post it online. I have no idea what im
going to write so im going to do some research that could provide my writing
and getting ideas. But first, i am going to introduce myself before i continue
this writing, my name is Tito Khaharuman and i usually called Tito. Sorry for
my bad grammar and lack of vocabulary because i am still learning and start
writing shall we?
This is new things for all of the
freshmen students to face their new role as an agent of change as known as
student college. As before they were an High School students, where every
actions are watched and they bow before the school rules. For now, its a
different thing cause they could decide every actions their going to make. For
an example, if they are lazy, no one will force them to attend the class. So i
think this is the time where i should properly make plans for my future, one of
them is my contribution for management.
There are several ways to contribute
ourself for management, such as get an achievement, join an organization, being
a volunteer, and many else. Before i start, im going to tell you the definition
of contribution and management. Based on my research on Oxford Dictionary and
google, contribution means something we give or do something as part of the way
to achieve or accomplish something (Ex. Goals). How about management? We can
interpret it as the reponsibility and the process of controlling company,
organization, or people in order to achive something. So we can conclude that
contribution for management is what are we going to do and being a part of
something we want to achieve in order to make management to be a better one.
Before i tell you what i am going to
do for the next 3 or 4 years, i am going to share you what i have been doing on
High School. If you are curious enough, then i am going to tell you how was my
high school. But if you are not, i am just going to skip it. So? Are you
curious? Okay then i think you are curious enough. So what i did in highshool
was... nothing. I did not join any extraculicular or evenmore like OSIS. I am
just a guy who did nothing, i am apathetic, i dont care any of it. Everything
was boring, until i realize i can not just be an apathetic person. So i think
this is the right time to change myself to be more productive. I was so
disappointed cause i didnt get into the University of Indonesia and what are
the seniors told to us? They said “You should be grateful, because theres a ton
of people who wants to be like you. Like there are more than ten thousands
people compete to get your chair”. What do you think i was thinking? You dont
have to know it because i dont want to get caught by the seniors hehe sorry.
Just skip it already shall we?
The first thing i am going to do
after the “Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru” is i want to know my
schedule. Then i am going to arrange my schedule so i will now when i have free
times. Then i will apply some job vacancies and find the one that could arrange
the schedule by my ownself. Because i dont want to ask more money for my
parents, at least i can get what i want by my own sweat and cause there are a
lot things i want to buy. But, i am not going to be that apathetic. If my
friends need my help, i will try my best to help them so they can help me
either. When i got enough time, i would like to be a part of some events so at
least i have more experience in a committee, or being a national event
volunteer, or maybe being a representative from University of Negeri Jakarta
for a certain big event.
From my opinion, we dont have to
contribute for a big things to make people acknowledge us that we are
contributing. We can contribute for small things either, such as keep our
environment clean, respect all the people, appreciate our friends effort, and
much else. So eventhough i can not contribute myself for a big things, i still
can contribute myself for a small things. Whether one of us are the one who did
the big job, we are still the same and we are one. Dont force yourself to do
so, ask other people for help. Every people has their own potential and we cant
just force them to be like us or what we want.
So my point is, i will do what i
want and you will do what you want. Dont force me to do such a things that i
dont want to so i will do so. People change, and we are growing up. So i hope
for the next several years we can be the best Management program study in
Indonesia. One thing that i want is i want people to acknowledge me and be
friends.
I think thats all for my essay, dont
take it serious about my jokes cause i am just confused to write a thousand
words and i am going to learn more about writing. Im Tito Khaharuman from
Bachelor Management program study 2018, Faculty of Economy do apologize about
my jokes and any words that may hurts some people. Im trying my best to be your
future leader. I will learn a lot so i can be useful to this nation and
